In recent years, BUSVS members have held a clothes and blanket drive for homeless veterans in Rhode Island, traveled to Washington, D.C. to speak with members of congress concerning legislation affecting the military, participated on University committees discussing the role of commissioning programs at Brown, and hosted events such as the annual Veterans Day Celebration.

Kloey is a senior concentrating in Biophysics. She served 7 years in the U.S. Army as a Human Intelligence Collector. In her free time, she enjoys working out, traveling, and live music.
Rob is a senior concentrating in History. He served 5 years in the Marine Corps as an Intelligence Analyst. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, gaming, hiking, and birding.
Riley is a Junior concentrating in Economics. He served four years in the Army as a Ranger assigned to 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. In his free time, he likes to lift, run, and watch college football.
Ichiro is a junior double concentrating in International and Public Affairs and Economics. Prior to Brown, he served four years in the U.S. Air Force as a Contracting Specialist. In his free time, he enjoys reading books, watching films, traveling, and cooking.
Jared is a Senior concentrating in Economics and International and Public Affairs. He served four years in the Marine Corps as a Food Service Specialist, including time with the 22d Marine Expeditionary Unit and Operation Allies Welcome. In his free time he enjoys international travel, running, and volunteering.
