Military-Affiliated Students

Brown University Student Veterans Society

The Brown University Student Veterans Society (BUSVS) was formed in 2009 to help foster a community of support and awareness for student veterans and students interested in military service.

In recent years, BUSVS members have held a clothes and blanket drive for homeless veterans in Rhode Island, traveled to Washington, D.C. to speak with members of congress concerning legislation affecting the military, participated on University committees discussing the role of commissioning programs at Brown, and hosted events such as the annual Veterans Day Celebration.
