Military-Affiliated Students

Services for Student Veterans

Information for new and current student veterans.

While all undergraduate student veterans arrive at Brown with the life experience of having served in the military, the application process by which you enter Brown will impact your arrival and transition process.
Brown's financial aid policies, combined with the Veteran Administration's Yellow Ribbon Program, makes a Brown education accessible and affordable.
The Brown University Student Veterans Society (BUSVS) was formed in 2009 to help foster a community of support and awareness for student veterans and students interested in military service.
The Office of Military-Affiliated Students is working with colleagues across the university to provide an opportunity to network with student veterans at Brown.
There are a wide range of outside organizations generously offering scholarships and grants to the military affiliated community. See below for a list of some of these programs.
