Brown Veterans Network

The Office of Military-Affiliated Students is working with colleagues across the university to provide an opportunity to network with student veterans at Brown.

In the pursuit of further supporting this population of students, the Brown Veterans Network has been developed to provide an opportunity for faculty and staff members at Brown who identify and/or wish to be a veteran ally to connect with the student veteran population.

Program Goals

  • Enhancing the student veteran support and experience on campus.
  • Building a greater sense of community among the Brown veteran population.
  • Providing opportunities for staff and faculty to connect with student veterans such as mentoring and networking events.

Matching

Unless requested by the student, no formal matching will take place. The information provided by participating faculty and staff will be available to all veterans students through the Brown Veterans Network page on our website. Student veterans who are interested in connecting with a specific faculty or staff member will reach out to them directly.
